Rivers Update - Friday, 17 June

The upper Mississippi River at Louisiana (the northernmost gage in the St. Louis District) is at 21.4, and is expected to crest today at 21.7. Levees in the area are being patrolled with no issues reported.

The Missouri River at Herman (the westernmost gage in our District) is just above flood stage at 21.3.

The National Weather Service 5-day forecast calls for 1-3" of rain over the St. Louis District. Currently the Missouri River is projected to fall gradually over the next three days.

The St. Louis District is tracking this event and will continue to evaluate the impacts of the full-range of forecasts provided by the National Weather Service.
