Carlyle Lake's Annual Car Show & Cruz-In

On Friday, August 12, 2011, the 15^th Annual Car Show & Cruz-In will be held at the Mariner’s Village Resort at Carlyle Lake with more than 200 classic cars from across central and southern Illinois are expected to participate in the event. 

            

The event kicks off with an early car cruise at Carl’s 4-Wheel Drive in Bartelso, IL at 4:30 p.m. The first 50 entrants will receive a dash plaque and a goody bag.  At 5:30 p.m., the cruisers will drive from Carl’s 4-Wheel Drive to the Mariner’s Village Resort in Carlyle for the remainder of the show.   

The public is invited to view the cars at Mariner’s Village from 6:00-10:00 p.m.  Food, drinks, games, prizes, Rock & Roll DJ, and the Rockin’ Radio Review will be at the show. The evening will conclude with a cruise across the Carlyle Lake Dam at 9:30 p.m. This is the largest gathering of classic cars in the St. Louis metro area. All types of classic vehicles will be there including: classic cars, stock cars, drag cars, and custom bikes.
